Happy July everyone. For my American readers, I am looking forward to the holiday week where we celebrate our nation's founding, all the while trying not to blow each other up or setting a brush fire with a wayward firework.
With the start of a new month, it is a great time to turn over a new leaf, and for me that is about improving my health and fitness. This month, all of my blog posts, quotes, inspirational messages will be focused on health and wellness and how to utilize mindfulness and inspired action to get the most out of your workouts and your meals.
Today, I am starting a 6 week journey of health and fitness. I signed up to do a 6 week wellness challenge and my goal is to get back into the habit of eating right and exercising regularly.
With my divorce, now almost a year ago, I let myself go. I labeled this year as the "Year of Me" - and while I've grown, and learned a lot about myself this past year, I also got into some very bad habits that I'm now focused on changing and transforming into healthier ones.
I hope you will find this month's theme informative and inspiring as I will be posting the good, bad, and possibly ugly -- of me attempting to get fit and healthy for these next few weeks.
How did you transform your health and fitness? What worked for you? What didn't? How did you maintain your habits?
I'd love to hear all about how you've tackled your health and wellness demons.
Until next time,
