If you're anything like me, you like to do lots of research before trying something new. (Or maybe that's just me overthinking everything). Anyhow, when I hear about a new fitness fad or wellness suggestion, I go and see who else is talking about it.
To go along with my theme of the month, I wanted to point out a few of my favorite health and wellness blogs. These are some of my go to places to get tips, tricks, recipes and new ideas on workouts.
Bites of Wellness
Samantha, a personal trainer, provides bite sized tidbits of information that make it easy to digest. Not just bite sized recipes, but workouts and a course you can take on get back to the basics of nutrition.
Fit Bottomed Girls
Fit Bottomed Girls - how can you not love the name, alone? It's fun, it's whimsical and most of all, it's informative.
Jennifer and Erin, two friends who decided to start a tongue-in-cheek blog were true pioneers in the body positive movement where they believe fit bottoms come in all shapes and sizes.
I enjoy this blog because the pair have a great sense of humor, have a wealth of content ranging from food, fitness, moms and connecting the mind-body-spirit element as well.
Naturally Savvy is more than a health conscious site, but also discusses topics like gardening, home improvement and wellness. The site is well organized and provides wonderfully detailed information on topics you didn't even think you needed to do!
Fitful Focus is run by Nicole who likes to give tips and tricks on eating whole foods, while staying focused on living a healthy and fit life. She provides information on eating and workouts, but also provides a fun little series called Runners who Wine.
